New poetry reading cassette in the world, the first collaboration between Spiral Editions (Ryan Skrabalak) and Elis Press (David James Miller), featuring Warren C. Longmire (Side A) and me (Side B): “Two offerings showcasing cadence, timbre, and fidelity, the otherwise difficult qualities for a book to exhibit. Sonic forward, cryptic and quick. Longmire's House Flag For Fathers is a meditation on labor, and Black masculinities featuring recorded and live performances on synth, drum machine and harmonica. It features experimental noise project Betty's Eyes on guitar, and trombone. It is dedicated to Warren's late father, Orlando Longmire. Klane's Druid Craft is a wasteland campfire songbook/spellbook assembled from text Yeats himself, excised from his many drafts of The Shadowy Waters. Postdiluvian fragments, played backwards and forwards, false starts for fortune-telling fortunes told.” Druid Craft was recorded by James Belflower in July 2025.
